A month after pushing myself to post an article per week, I am still confused but happy for the little progress.
It has been a month since I decided to post an article per week since mid of April. Once, it was raining all day on Sunday; my cat was sleeping by my side on the warm bed; I had to push myself out of it. Or put my mobile aside when I was addicted to browsing reels on Instagram. Then I sat in front of the desk to rack my brains between my native Mandarin and output some jumbled thoughts into English.
I also sometimes feel frustrated and confused when the page views and followers keep low on the website and social media. I knew precisely that these topics are less attractive to most people. I considered choosing easier ways like writing some content farm articles or posting beautiful pictures to boost click-through rates. But when I reviewed the original ideas, I built this website at the beginning. I wanted to share these things from another side of the fashion apparel industry. Those things people usually don’t care about or can’t get access to in this field.
I once saw a post on Instagram, a drawing by James Norbury. Tiny dragon asked big panda how he kept going, and then big panda said that even the smallest step is better than no step. Keep moving forward, and we will get to know where the destination is.
