I have been busy recently as I managed an exhibit and a brand seminar I am working on at the Taipei Fashion Week. I had to prepare everything, including shooting the autumn/winter collection, confirming the details of display and products well before the exhibition’s debut, content writing then uploading to the website, analysing the result of the exhibit, and following up with the people met during the show. Even now, I am still keeping up with plenty of work.

During the fashion week, foreign buyers couldn’t come here to visit in person because of the striction of travelling. There were some business matching holding online during the show, so we, as exhibitors, had to show our garments in front of the camera. I felt like a live streamer or a host of a TV shopping show to convince the other side to buy our ideas or products. It was pretty hilarious, but I was also shocked by the style and change of the fashion week. The pandemic impacts not only on living styles but almost everything.

A videographer was live streaming the business matching.

However, I did enjoy the time coming back to the fashion week. Just this time, I shifted my role from an organiser to an exhibitor. Thanks to the experience of being an organiser, honestly, I did this job calmly this time, even I had to do most of the things myself because there was not enough staff to help me. Compared to before, I couldn’t sleep whenever the show was coming. You never know what your experience will help you overcome which kind of situations in the future, and I appreciated all the hard-working I had done before.

Share IT!🥰
